Tree Seedling Sale in Asheville

You can help the environment and beautify your landscape for pennies.

The Buncombe County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold its annual seedling sale February 26 – 28, 2009. The sale will be held at Jesse Israel and Sons at the WNC Farmers Market on February 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and  8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 27th and 28th. 

White Pines seedlings will be available for 25 cents each in any quantity. Also available: Wild Plum, Black Walnut, White Ash, Persimmon, Red Maple, River Birch, and Northern Red Oak at 75 cents each.
