Good news for foodies! Three exquisite restaurants in Asheville’s Biltmore Village are teaming up in an event called “The Chef’s Quarter: Three culinary visions, one destination.”
The restaurants are offering special three course menus for $25 from now until March 31, 2009. The special price is good Sundays through Thursdays.
The participating restaurants include The Corner Kitchen, Rezaz and Fig. Make your reservations now.

In honor of National Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, IHOP Restaurants will treat customers with a FREE short stack (three) of its famous buttermilk pancakes. The offer is good from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. that day. One free stack per guest, and the offer is not good with any other offer, special coupon or discount. Donations accepted for the Children’s Miracle Network.
Asheville’s Fun Depot, which is a very popular place for birthday parties, is offering a “Big Birthday Bailout” for a limited time.
For $69.99 (regularly $169.99) the birthday child may invite eight guests. Each party guest will receive one hour unlimited climbing wall, soft play, mini-golf, batting cages, non-ticket arcade games and 100 bonus ticket points.
The party also includes cake, two pitchers of drinks and one hour in a private party room with a personal host.
If a child wants to invite more than eight guests, then there will be an addition of $8.99 per child over the first eight.
