Ten Cent Admission to The Health Adventure

A new exhibit called “Common Cents For Kids,”  which teaches children the value of saving money, opens at The Health Adventure at Pack Place in downtown Asheville, N.C. on February 7, 2009.

Admission for kids under the age of 12 will only be one thin dime between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The mascot “Dime-A-Saurus” will be on hand to help encourage kids to open their own bank accounts. The program is sponsored by On Track and Asheville Savings Bank. Those who sign up will be eligible to win a toy for every $50 they deposit.

Free Pancakes at IHOP

In honor of National Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, IHOP Restaurants will treat customers with a FREE short stack (three) of its famous buttermilk pancakes. The offer is good from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. that day. One free stack per guest, and the offer is not good with any other offer, special coupon or discount.

IHOP will ask customers to consider making a donation to support local childrens hospitals through the Children’s Miracle Network, or other local charities.

Free Grand Slam Breakfast at Denny’s

On Tuesday, February 3, 2009, Denny’s restaurants will offer a free Grand Slam breakfast to everyone in America. The deal is good from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dine in only.

A Grand Slam breakfast includes two eggs, two slices of bacon, two sausage links and two pancakes.
